About the assignment

Your responsibilities

As Business controller you will be a close partner to the managers in the business. You are responsible for follow-up, analysis and forecasts in your area and make sure the business has the information it needs to make the right decisions.

Your main tasks

• Budgeting and forecasting together with the business managers
• Monthly follow-up and analysis of results, costs and KPIs
• Profitability analyses by product, customer or business area
• Preparing decision support and investment appraisals
• Reporting to management and steering groups
• Developing reports, KPIs and ways of working for better control

Your profile

You have a university degree in business or economics and at least three years of experience as a Business controller or in a similar role. You are business-minded, analytical and good at explaining figures to people without a finance background.

You have very good systems skills and advanced Excel skills. Experience of Power BI or similar tools is a plus. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, spoken and written.

As a person you are curious, communicative and driven. You enjoy a role where you take your own initiatives and build trust across the organisation.

Key success factors

• At least three years of experience as a Business controller or similar
• Strong analytical skills and good business understanding
• Used to presenting and explaining figures to management and the business
• Advanced Excel skills, ideally experience of Power BI
• Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written
