Business controller – Oslo

Would you like to turn numbers into decisions in an international group? We are looking for an analytical and business-minded Business controller for our client’s office in Oslo, Norway.

About the assignment

Location: Oslo, Norway (on site). The assignment is with one of Consult Work’s clients, an international group in healthcare. Out of consideration for the client, the company is presented in more detail at a first interview.

Your role

As Business controller you have overall responsibility for financial analysis and reporting in the Norwegian business. You make sure the organisation has solid decision support throughout the year and actively support commercial and strategic processes. You work closely with finance, sales, marketing and logistics, both in Norway and internationally.

Your main tasks

• Monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Analysis of sales, profitability, EBIT, contribution margin and working capital
• Budget, forecast and medium-term strategy processes
• Follow-up and visualisation of KPIs
• Developing and maintaining reporting in Power BI
• Supporting tenders and commercial decisions
• Project follow-up and continuous process improvement
• Reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Sparring partner and backup for the CFO

Your profile

• University degree in finance, economics or business administration
• 3–5 years of experience in controlling, analysis or finance
• Good understanding of accounting, ideally combined with an audit background
• Experience of reporting, budgeting and KPI follow-up
• Very good Excel skills; experience of SAP, Power BI or similar is a plus
• Fluent Norwegian and English, spoken and written
